Dear Dean, Thanks for contacting FOBO. Usually it is not possible to switch to a metal valve when using a tubed tire, although we recommend checking that with your motorcycle workshop. We recommend all of our customers to use our sensors with metal valves as rubber valves will degrade over time or you regularly check your tire valves if the rubber valves need to change for more safety.
